What are the Top 5 albums you've listened to the most?

Based on ~11 years of Apple Music history, and in no particular order:
  • Wage War - Blueprints
  • Tiny Moving Parts - Swell
  • Chapel - Sunday Brunch
  • Bilmuri - Eggy Pocket
  • Bilmuri - AMERICAN MOTOR SPORTS
It's interesting to see this list because, with the exception of Wage War, these are all albums I'll play when my wife and I are together.

Hmm… really hard to say, but my best guess for the top 5 I’ve listened straight through the most would probably be these. A lot of this is based on what albums happened to be available to me as a kid. But they are the ones that stuck that I’ve listened to ever since that time.

I can assume you're in your 30's?
While I have bought a lot of newish albums, and ever since itunes began, they still haven't caught up to what I was listening to pre-streaming. Especially when it comes to full albums.

Go on then I’ll play.

Slayer - Reign in Blood
Dead can Dance - Into the Labyrinth
Jason and the Scorchers - Lost and Found
Celtic Frost - To Mega Therion

The last one is probably a toss up between Malmsteen - Rising Force, Queensryche - Rage for Order or Frontline Assembly Tactical Neural Implant.
Yngwie probably gets the spot as its older so has had more plays…
All country albums I see. :grin

It's kinda cool to see what everybody got heavy into. (y)

My biggest thrash metal obsessions were Anthrax, Megadeth and maybe Testament to a lesser degree.

Anybody listen to this album?

This is one I've listened to a ton, mostly in the mid 90's. It came out in '94.
A bandmate and I learned a few of the tracks and would play them on occasion.

Really enjoyed their first two albums (Red Dust & Spanish Lace and Natural Elements) when they initially came out but I lost touch with them after those, for whatever reason

I need to check those out. For some reason I heard this one first and just got the next few afterwards. If I recall, one of the original guitarists had died later on.

Country ish….. 😁 Lone Justice’s debut and Maria McKee’s first two solo albums are just outside the top 5.

Early 30s, yeah. I was a sophomore or junior in college when Apple Music debuted, so its history covers my pretty much my entire adult life.

Shout out to their 3rd album (Blue Chip) as well. And yes, one of the founding guitarists did pass away but they’ve continued on. I need to look into the later work and see how that is.
