Played a festival gig this afternoon. Record breaking heat, over 100 degrees no clouds in the sky and no trees to be seen lol. Also hardly any attendees to be seen either it was a bit of a mess. We basically were just entertaining the staff and vendors and a small handful of lovely wookettes doing yoga and meditations

It mostly sounded excellent, although shockingly…. Lead channel with the contour mode was TOO SCOOPED and the fact that I’m saying the phrase too scooped is a bit of a bombshell…. I crater the 750hz slider on my marks all the time and it those still have way more mids. And for context mid knob was at like 8 nearly all the way up on the lead channel. If I play this amp live in the future I’ll need to repair my footswitch (I’m locked into contour mode atm) the contour clearly takes the mid scoop too far
Channel one is magnificent though and plays with pedals perfectly. Perfected twin is definitely the right description imo

I wish I could’ve stuck around longer as a couple homies bands are also playing, but the heat moxed with how many hours it would be was a non starter lol

On your MKV are you using the "Edge" mode on channel 2?
