What Amp Are You Playing Today?

It’s working really well. I have a pair of guitar cabs and a pair of studio monitors plugged in. An amp always plugged in and a modeler always plugged in. I can send the modeler or the amp to either output pair without having to change anything.

The amp sounds and feels right. The additional tone shaping options are good, I’d say I use the presence and depth to some degree most of the time. The mojo only slightly less of the time.
Effects loop with its dual mono/stereo option is perfect.
The build / aesthetic quality is excellent!

There is bound to be something I could want improved but I honestly can’t think of it. I guess if it had USB audio out but that is probably a bad idea and not really needed considering how the users will have a better interface of their own choosing.
I haven’t used any reamping yet but I can’t see how that won’t work as well as the rest of it does.

Well done Two Notes!
Thanks for getting back to me. So pleased to hear this is working out well for you! In terms of Reamping, this feature was removed from Reload II compared to it's predecessor as we wanted to focus on the unit being the best attenuator and amp expander it could be. However you could use this as part of a reamping rig for sure - this would essentially be the last device in your chain before recording the reamped DI back into your DAW. Let me know if this helps and if you need any more info, I am always happy to help!

Always liked this amp for what it was but always felt it was a bit dry and stiff.

Loaded one of my preferred tube sets and WOW! It is now one of the best lead amps.

Crab Marcus has been at drummers for at least a month but brought it home last night. Kind of mind blowing how small this thing is. It’s not mini recto small but about as small as it gets otherwise

Love the dog, too!

I recorded a bit with my Crab Dragon today. 3 tracks of rhythm guitar on a new song I'm writing and figuring out how I want to arrange. Dragon VH4 channel on the left, EVH 5150 III EL34 on the right, and JP2C down the middle. Played the riff for my buddy over the phone and he said the same thing I was thinking, reminds you of the vibe of early Sabbath, and he recommended listening to it for ideas for other parts. 10 minutes later and I was chopping it up to make room for a middle break.

Epic!! Would love to hear it!!

I think the VH4 mode of the dragon on the vid that @CorrosiveMatter shared was my favorite sounding on that amp

I almost wish I had gotten a different flavor from crab since I already have 3 actual marks, but the Marcus is definitely awesome lol

I love it for rhythm myself. If I had known he did custom options on the Dragon I wouldn't have gotten the Mark channel and might have gotten something with kind of an edge of breakup tone instead of the Twin channel. They are nice, but I have a JP2C and a C+, so no need for another Mark (sacrilege, I know). The Mark channel is fine, but I tend to add the 5 band EQ with the Axe-FX to do what I want with that one, Heck, I EQ the other channels with the Axe-FX too, just because I can.

Might do a snippet after drums and bass are added and share it here. I'm sure I'll end up rearranging the guitars after it's done so that the sound evolves a bit between the amps. I sent to our other vocalist to see if she is capable of writing something evil sounding. We are starting to do more of a male/female Alice In Chains harmonies on my originals.
