What’s the best chorus?

So many chorus threads, I'll bump this one.

@metropolis_4 How does the PastFx CE-1 compare to the same mode in the CE-2W?

How does the CE-5 compare to the CH-1, anyone has both?

I’ve actually never tried a CE-2W. I’ve only had old green label Japanese CE-2’s.

One thing is I’m pretty sure the CE-2W doesn’t have the preamp or the vibrato mode of the CE-1

I have the MOOG Clusterflux; it is the best-sounding and most flexible Chorus I have ever used. The problem is it is huge, and I worry about it getting ripped off at a gig. I tend to use the Chorus in my H90 the most; it is also very flexible. If I am grabbing a few pedals for a grab-and-go board, I will typically grab my Ibanez CS9 first. If I use my JC 120 head for a gig, I just use the chorus in the amp.

Ooh, I found something very interesting when comparing the CH-1 and CE-5 schematics, both older analog and modern digital versions.

Drum roll...... they are exactly the same except the EQ section.
Even the the High Filter on the CE-5 is exactly the same control as the single 'eq' knob on the CH-1.
So literally the ONLY difference between the two is the Bass filter in the CE-5.

Decades of forum debates nullified.
:rofl
