I asked this on tgp as well. Can y’all suggest a pedal that could get me this tone from the single note runs at the beginning of this clip? It will be going into a fender deluxe reverb. I heard a similar tome from a Keeley noble screamer in an Andersons vid

Sorry, no info from me but I’ve never heard this before and it’s JAMMIN!!! I’m checking this out.

WH was big on Soldano so i wonder if the SLO pedal with the gain backed off into an EQ will get you close? I’m sure plugging into a closed back with G12T-75s will help, too.

I'd suggest any SLO pedal, since that's what he uses.

Warren Haynes' distorted live tone comes from an SLO-100 with low gain, running into a 4x12 cabinet with V30 speakers. He sometimes uses a Klon in front.

It's a very simple, straightforward guitar-into-amp tone.
Variations come from guitar and pickup choices, as well as clever use of volume, tone, and pickup combinations.

I love Gov't Mule and Warren Haynes

There’s also some screaming 70s and 80s lead tones that are similar that I want to get. I can’t think of any of the songs atm, nor do I know how to describe them :(

Might be hard to get that kind of depth of tone and punch with a DR. DRs don't love a
lot of low end and if you throw a bunch at them with a pedal they can cave in.

I'd suggest a Bogner Blue. Great base pedal with good feel (for a pedal) and lots of
tonal options. Dime a dozen for $100 or so used.

I think a SLO Pedal into a DR is going to be Fizz City.

This is my current pedalboard

I can get pretty close with drive stacking - usually my Fairfield Barbershop into a Menatone Red Snapper. His tone changes over the years, but the root seems to be a Tube Screamer type pedal and Klon for leads. For leads I kick on my Decibelics Golden Horse --> Barbershop --> Red Snapper. In the past, I've used the EQD Plumes instead of the Red Snapper and it works well too.

Add Reverb and a little delay to taste. He uses a Hughes & Kettner Tube Rotosphere and my Neo Micro Vent does a pretty good job of that sound. He uses the Emma Discumbobulator as an auto-wah and my Mad Professor Snow White can cover that effect.

I tried several Soldano pedals including the SLO and never got close to Haynes' sound. I'm playing a Les Paul or ES-355 into a Fender '65 DRRI volume 4.5
