Virtual Capo

Howdy all, was wondering if the Virtual Capo does 1/4 Step up as good as say Tuning by Ear ?

The Virtual Capo in my FM3 works perfectly fine up to 3 or 4 semitones, after that i start noticing artifacts all over.

My favorite is still by far Helix's Poly Capo thou.
