Why the AXEIII + FC12 and not the FM9?

Asking because part of me would love the full III, but I don't want to have to bring it + a floor controller to gigs.

Asking because part of me would love the full III, but I don't want to have to bring it + a floor controller to gigs.

I wanted to get one device that I knew could handle anything that comes at me, and there are a few features on the III I knew would be useful:

• Global blocks
• More I/O options
• 3 more footswitches for the same amount of floor space
• MkII size scribble strips
• Footswitches separate from “brains”
• 4 drive blocks
• 4 delay blocks

I really like having the brains sitting next to me where I can quickly reach over to it rather than down on the floor
