I appreciate that it isn't doing Fender cleans and Marshall overdrive because I feel like there's so many products out there that do that.
Which ones (outside of the digital modeling world)?

I was mainly thinking of amps in this regard. Most high gainers have a Fender based clean channel. Even my Mark V's ch1 and ch2 kinda do the Fender vs Marshall thing even though ch2 isn't exactly like Marshall (less sizzle).Which ones (outside of the digital modeling world)?

I find it interesting to see all the gut pics in high res on the Thomann page. They don't usually post guts there.

That’s what made me order it.Based on my experience with my Tone King Imperial Preamp Pedal, I'm pretty sure this is a great product!

It looks unserviceable like a cell phone and will probably end up in a landfill in a few years when the DSP fails or gets zapped and it is "uneconomically repairable".It's beautiful inside as well and we're proud to show it!
The pretty much applicable to all surface mount component jobs, no?It looks unserviceable like a cell phone and will probably end up in a landfill in a few years when the DSP fails or gets zapped and it is "uneconomically repairable".
I understand why- there is a lot packed into the device and to hit the price it has to be largely assembled by machine. I understand it but I can still lament.

Firmware 7.1 with the following:
- Fixed the Volume jump when the attenuator is set to the first click
Matched the Volume with different modes (1970, 1967, 1964)
- Increased the XLR and Headphones output - Adjusted the LOWPASS and HIGHPASS filter response
- Adjusted the HF filter response
Reduced the sub-bass response of the output transformer simulation
- Increased the output power transformer simulation compression
Simply plug your ROYALIST preamp to the software editor and it will automatically update to 7.1 in a few seconds. Do NOT turn OFF the unit during the update
Sad times when even tube devices need software updates.Saw a Tone King post on Facebook...
That's what comes with sticking digital onto analog...Sad times when even tube devices need software updates.![]()
Analog is dead. Unless you record your tube amp without digital fx with an analog mixer on tape, mastering without plugins, try and find a vinyl press that accepts non digital source, listen on an analog hifi system with a tube/mosfet etc amp, not wearing your digital hearing aidSad times when even tube devices need software updates.![]()
