I bought an Edwards LP from his previous liquidation through the TGF Classifieds forum.

He doesn't I don't believe. I thought the tag might elicit a response

Just to be clear I've got no ill will towards the guy. I found the amp I was looking for and got a deal elsewhere, all is good, just trying to tame expectations in case anybody starts calling dibs on stuff in the thread lol. :D

Two things:

1. how does one acquire all that gear, and where does one put it all? Like, that's a full time job.

2. These two comments to me, equals "not going to buy from that guy":

He must not post here often. I sent him a PM in May asking if he still had an amp available for sale. The amp is listed in that Craigslist post.

Never heard back.

1. Youtube is his full time job now so yep. Also you're looking at where he puts it all. :D

2. More like "don't expect an attempt at contacting the guy through this forum to work." I'd have no problems buying from the guy in general. It's not his responsibility to check every forum on the internet just in case somebody wants to buy something from him.

My daughter is going to be driving right by him on Monday on her way here. I should have her stop and fill the car with gear I don't need!

He's actually detailed this a bit before and it's something he's had struggles with. IIRR, he almost went broke buying gear, or did go broke, and also has gotten claustrophobic due to all of it being in his house/dominating his life.

Kyle's a good dude, I'd have no problem buying something off him. He generally has GREAT prices on what he sells and I know he put a lot of his money into opening a rehearsal venue for bands in his city, which I thought was a pretty standup thing to do.

I don’t agree with this. Don’t want to check a certain or multiple forums? Don’t list your item there, problem solved.

I’ve listed stuff in like 7 different places, at one time, but I wouldn’t ignore any of them.

He seems like a cool dude that is really into gear but he also has a band and plays shows too. I think he started a venue so bonus points there lol. We're going to try to play there this fall.

He posted a big thing on Facebook recently that I didn’t really agree with saying local bands should rarely play out. Which I definitely don’t agree with but that also has a lot to do with context . I guess I should view that from the lens of a metal band that’s largely playing the same setlist. Definitely genre specific tho…. A jam band that’s always playing a completely different set is kind of in a different category

But regardless I have nothing but love and respect for the dude
