Try two inline Jeff Beck showed me what that can do.For me it just makes your cleaner tones bigger and makes it feel easier.
Jeff was awesome.Try two inline Jeff Beck showed me what that can do.
Except the modeled version in HX, which I don't use.
While I usually prefer the Heir Apparent for such endeavours, I sometimes use the HX Klon to add some buzzy yet mellow kinda drive to clean amps. Also comes out as a rather flexible tone.
Same patch all throughout:
Models are not the same.
They are not. But they're still legitimate tone tools that sound great on their own. I kind of relate it to what some say about stacked single coils or blade singles -- "But they don't sound exactly like a real single coil, and they're humbucking but don't sound like full-sized humbuckers either."Models are not the same.
But why do they need to sound like that, and why can't they stand on their own as a viable option?
The point being you have no frame of reference other than that . .I absolutely don't care.
If you like it it’s valid but analog is different and if you don’t have a DAC in the chain it certainly isn’t worth adding one for this. This!
Add to this that you also get things you don't get with the originals. With pseudo-singlecoils you get humfree operation. With modeled stomp boxes you get saveability (plus some more options). For some people, these might be worth more than staying all authentic.

I get it you don’t care about tone dynamics or quality.I. Don't. Care.

You aren’t worth anything moreOh yeah, those smileys will teach me for sure. Back to the ignore list.
Get the Amazon Basics versionMaybe one day I'll try an actual, real Klon. It's like the Dumble of OD pedals, hyped to the point of being unaffordable!
