The LP pokerchip, yay or nay?

Yesterday was the Edwards turn for a spa day and after adjusting the pokerchip for the 100th time I thought, “I should just take the fucker off!” and while it’s not a huge cosmetic change, I find myself digging it quite a bit. I’m tempted to take it off the Orville to see how it looks now.

You keep ‘em on or off?

I like it without.

Beautiful LP!

Also, the gold hardware looks badass on that guitar.

I don’t play it nearly enough for how great of a guitar it is. I really need to yank the EMG’s out of it. I spent more time trying to dial the EMG out of the amps yesterday than I did actually recording with it.

And I dunno if it’s a Gotoh thing, but seems their hardware is usually a touch bolder in color than other gold hardware I’ve seen.

I am trying not to notice the EMGs. :idk

:rofl

I wonder how and if the binding will age and start to yellow at some point.

For that guitar off. If you had covered pickups instead of EMG's I'd do on.

That guitar is amazing!

I was thinking that, too. I’ll be putting gold covers back on it eventually and the chip might be the carpet that pulls the whole room together then.

Hope so! Seems the older ones I’ve seen on Reverb tend to age. I wish the whole thing were nitro instead of poly!
