My perspective on head/combo costs are entirely reversed than how manufacturers see them. I totally get combos cost more due to an included speaker/cabinet, but I’ve always perceived combos as “Cool, still need an amp to gig with though” (keep in mind, I’ve been playing in modern metal bands for the last 20 years, not playing Twins) so when I see the price of a combo I immediately scoff can’t comprehend why someone wouldn’t want the head instead.

That's a $700 Speaker in there according to my math. Must be a good 'un!

Still thinking there must a V2 of the JP2C head in the works.

My thing is, if I want a flame thrower amp, I don’t want a boxy 112 combo. If it was a 212 combo, it starts to make more sense to me as an all-in-one option.
