The JHF1 is really a modern classic that flies under the radar IMO. It’s so close to my favorite Ge fuzz with none of the characteristic instability.

You really can't go wrong with any Jeorge Tripps designed pedal. That guy has magic ears.Jeorge Tripps knocked it out of the park with that pedal. The cleanup is fantastic for a silicon FF.
I’ve noticed a number of very cheap Fender Twins recently though.
Dave sounds great though anything.
This was in the studio last time I saw him;

He played on my friends charity single.
Never played one of those or had any of those transistors to mess about with. Would love to try one. I built a sun face with some really old bc183LCs which I love. My favourite three fuzz face versions are my sunface bc183 clone, JHF1 and a Thorpyfx Tacit Blue clone.
Is that a sin or something?Is he tracking with HEADPHONES????????

Not for everyone apparently.Playing through headphones sucks.
I was flip flopping between this thread and (ewwww) FB and saw that meme pop up. Instant post fodderNow that's funny!
I plugged straight all this past weekend and had a blast. Going to do it more often. I just love
the tactile immediacy of guitar/cable/amp/speaker.
I also love having 13 different ingredients in series, too.![]()
