The Guitar Clinics thread

A week and a half ago I went to the Reb Beach guitar clinic sponsored by Suhr (from Winger) at the Guitar Sanctuary - It was pretty cool- more of like a one man show with a some stories.

I also ended up winning a Suhr Riot pedal, in the free raffle for the event:

The Guitar Sanctuary, the ToneShop (in Addison, TX) and others host a few of these free events a year usually sponsored by manufacturers like PRS, Suhr and Keely.

When the Keely Halo was released, Andy Timmons and Keely had a showcase event for it, as well as the Super AT Mod Overdrive later on.


This year we also had Andy woods


James Ivanyi, David Grissom at the ToneShop this year, at the Sanctuary last year.

There's an upcoming one by PRS and Mark Lettieri (again at the Sanctuary) which I'm looking forward to.

He was up here in the midwest I think(?) on the 20th? I didn't go because we were playing. And because Winger I bet it was cool! The Guitar Sanctuary website is a hard one to look at. What with all the PRS drooling it inspires!

Now imagine stepping into the store - there's a dedicated amp room, with a bunch of Mesas (and others).

I'm still bummed I couldn't attend the John Petrucci one years ago:
