Best I could find for Headrush was Fremen's Diezel Herbert clones which does nicely for some Tool type stuff. I thought there were a channel or two in the Herbert that were the same as the VH4, or is that hogwash?
I have a feeling I'll be getting some "you're doing it wrong!" comments on this one. It was really hard to nail the sound of my amp closely with this one. I felt like I needed to add more clarity (as well as that fuzzy saturated character) but everything I tried didn't give me the right results. The wrong characteristics just got exaggerated. That's why in certain sections the amp model just sounds a bit more dull. I did my best anyway:

The MKI and II Herberts definitely share a lot of DNA with the VH4. The Mark III is like a totally different amp (and not as good IMO). Definitely a lot of overlap with the older Herberts and VH4 too (especially given how much VH4's vary).Best I could find for Headrush was Fremen's Diezel Herbert clones which does nicely for some Tool type stuff. Of course you canIt’s gonna be interesting to see if you can ”capture” the real amps magic with Tonex or NAM.

I think someone started a thread for me here but there's nothing too official - I'm always a bit cautious to post too much because I don't want to add to the spam (there's a few guys who abuse the forum IMO). I'll try to update it a bit more regularly though. Thanks for the kind words, it really means a lot.@MirrorProfiles
Hi! Could you let me know if you have a separate thread with announcements for your capture packs and IRs? I couldn’t find one, and it would be really useful to have. I bought your JVM410 and Bogner Uberschall captures, as well as some IRs, and they’re all excellent quality!
I think by now, you're allowed a thread!!I think someone started a thread for me here but there's nothing too official - I'm always a bit cautious to post too much because I don't want to add to the spam (there's a few guys who abuse the forum IMO). Sticky-ed / Pinned even !I think by now, you're allowed a thread!!

CH3 has that quality to it & when paired with a proper cab as a load you feel that umph when chugging.I tried @2dor ’s NAM captures yesterday. As soon as I loaded the free Ch3 DI capture and did some palm mutes I experienced what @GuitarJon was saying about the amp in his videos. Chugs really do jump out at you!
Thanks and nice work both of you, it’s been fun getting to know the actual amplifier behavior compared to the the only digital model I’ve tried before (Helix)!
Diezel VH4 vs Tone Master Pro:
Well, I think VH4's just vary a lot amp to amp. They've been in production for decades and there are all kinds of variations on the circuit out there. So I think I would expect some amount of deviation from all amps and models, unless we have the specific circuit checked. Annoyingly, it's just one of those amps.
I guess the STL Amphub model should be a similar year to yours, so that would be interesting to see if it's closer. I'm not sure on what year the Fractal Silverface model is based on either, but it sounds a bit brighter than the Blueface, and I imagine that'll be somewhat close. My gut feeling would be that one can get close, but may require some tweaks to the negative feedback, presence circuit, power amp valves and bias.
Which sims have you tested? They all seem quite different to me, so my guess would be one of them should be somewhat close to your specific amp. Im interested to know which one is most similar to yours in behaviour and tone.
IMO it sounds like a VH4, but if there was 5 different VH4's sat in a row, the Helix one probably has least of the qualities I like in a VH4. Just the way it goes sometimes.
Absolutely no issue with you dumping your videos in this thread but please try and join in on the conversation as well. Baiting answers inside your videos aint the one. You've just skipped past several relevant and genuine questions. Forums are for discussion, not spam.Did you have time to listen to the clips I posted of @2dor ’s amp vs Helix? curious what you think of that
