The Classic Car Thread

Well, compared to modern vehicles, not really, lol.

My daily is a 2020 Volvo XC60, that has a turbo 4, putting out 250hp that will easily beat my 5.0.

It's definitely enough to have fun and get into trouble though. I often think about mild, bolt-on power upgrades, but I live in a pretty congested area, and post-covid, people don't seem to even drive the speed limit anymore, much less more than the speed limit, so, I don't really have the space to go fast.
A friend of mine has a Volvo 5 cylinder turbo 2 door coupe that is a weapon in stock form. The torque and the throw you back into the seat are off the charts. Just an amazing car and who would think a Volvo could do that. So, I understand your XC60 is a real goer! (y)

Best you DON'T touch the FOX as in standard form it'll bring you more money when the time comes to sell it.

Not as exciting as what has been posted already, but she's mine, and in the state of NJ anything over 25 years old is a "classic" :

Back when they were new, I used to go to the Ford dealers just to test drive the 5.0's! Loved those cars.

I believe this to be the very first Porsche from all those years ago.

Its simplicity is its beauty.

Can you imagine how difficult it was to build this body in order to make it look perfectly straight. A lost art today.

For giggles I'd like to lay some rubber into this piece below. She may not be glam but she's sexy as hell.

My father had a 61 convertible in 64, and there's a pic of me as a baby on the front seat holding the steering wheel! Lol
Which, based on the dates, means a 24 y.o. owned a 3 year-old Corvette, as a guy selling insurance or working at a tree service company (can't remember which at the time.)

Who can do that today?
