TGF Do Something Challenge - Season 9 Week 7

Welcome to Week 7 of Season 9's "Do Something Challenge". Only 2 weeks left, this one and next week, so get your entries in! Not a bad show this week at 8 new entries, but I know we can all do better! Let's "pump it up" and try to beat last Season ;~)) With the 8 this week, we are now at a total of 71 pieces of music submitted in the first six weeks of the Challenge! Great job participants!! Awesome to see 3 new players on the board this week! Welcome to the challenge @Jynx, @Genghis and @- ★ - BROCKSTAR - ★ - (sorry about the bullying ;~)). Kudos to these new participants as well as all who have contributed so far to this Season!! Encourage (bully) others to join the Challenge and submit some entries ;~)) MUSIC, it's the best (and best shared)!!

Week 7 will run through August 16, so get on it and make some more glorious noises!

This song started out as a 30 second demo of my PRS HXDA amp. My pal David Barrett ('One Shining Moment', etc.) liked it and wanted to write some lyrics. David sang the original lyrics, but then we decided, nah, let's have our friend Liz Larin lay down a vocal. It was all kind of a last minute thing, Liz was heading out on tour. Wrong key for Liz and no time to recut everything. Drums are way over processed. It ain't perfect. Decent song, though. Remixed last month.

FuzzyAce's superb ambient piece reminded me that I did this kinda-sorta-but- not-quite-ambient-or-orchestral piece a few weeks ago. Finally finished tweaking it last week.
