cannot stand these marketing BS having them all on individual pedals.. why not get at least 3 amps on a single pedal to begin with..

I don’t think that’s BS, so there’s definitely people who this is for. I am one of those who want one good amp sound and preferably as little options as possible. In a sense it’s like having one real amp. In this case the amps are much smaller. The home player that I am likes the idea of having symbolistic little cute amp pedals on my desktop. If the sound good, it’s good.

Decision paralysis which comes with multi-fx units which have 100 fx's.

In a sense it’s like having one real amp. In this case the amps are much smaller. The home player that I am likes the idea of having symbolistic little cute amp pedals on my desktop. If the sound good, it’s good.

Also this. Now way I'm going to lug a real amp in my apartment let alone play it at any decent level..
A small pedal sized amp head/preamp on my desktop helps with the gas itch.

I think having something like a Strymon Iridium or Walrus ACS1 with a handful of models is far from option paralysis.

To me the biggest failing of the TC Ampworks is still the single cab sim which you can't even change. I know they are cheap, but so is a Tonex One.

Sure! If everyone felt and thought the same as you. Luckily we’re all different. I have the ACS1 and it’s great, but it’s bordering on to much stuff for me. It’s true! That’s the way I am (have become). The ideal solution for me is one amp model and preferably one IR/cabsim. But I do appreciate that i have the possibility to load in a York or whatever if i suddenly become wild and crazy.
But so far I’ve been just using one of the three amp models and stick with it. If I start to flip models and change settings my creativity is out the window. Just how I am. So yeah “far from option paralysis” is very close or bordering for me :)

I get it, I'm pretty happy using just one amp. But it's nice to have those other options on offer when you do get bored, or want to look for other sounds for any reason. No extra money spent, just flick a switch and try something else.

Not a fan. I did try them though and am glad they work for others. Especially at this price point.
