They sound pretty decent to me in the video. Pairing with Celestion for the IRs is also a good move as that does make them sound pretty good out of the box even if you can't swap the IRs. Built in boost that can be like an overdrive boost or just a volume boost is a good feature. Being able to dial in different settings for each channel is useful too, even if it means the knobs don't point at the right things.

I wonder what these are running under the hood. Machine learning models or component modeling?

I don't have much interest in these because they lack all the things I like digital modelers to have - multiple models/cabs to switch between, MIDI control, stereo out, ability to use custom IRs etc.

I think these will sell very well for the people who don't want any bells and whistles. At $149, if you just want e.g a headphone friendly version of your Marshall Superlead, Vox AC30 or Deluxe Reverb to throw on your pedalboard, these are a no-brainer.

A Vox, Fender and low gain Marshall AIAB?!?!?!?!?!?? Very innovative!

It it just me, or the Jims45 sounds great... while the rest sound a bit crappy? The gap is very noticeable.
To me Fender amps sound pretty awful if you try to crank them for gain anyway and thought the clean and edge of breakup tones sounded just fine. The DC30 is probably the worst of the bunch where it seems just too harsh even with the high cut turned up.

It might be a question of IRs selected. Easy test would be running into an IR loader pedal and see if some different IR fixes the problem. But that of course takes away any value these might have and it would be better to just buy a Strymon Iridium.

Then again, these things are $150 a pop. I'd buy one in a second if all i wanted were good Marshall tones.
