Taylor electrics

Anyone have one of these? I played one at a guys house and was very impressed!

Looks-wise it’s not my thing, but this thing played and sounded amazing. And it was extremely versatile as well. It was one of those guitars that immediately feels comfortable.

Apparently Taylor was blowing out stock and just giving these to studios for students because they weren’t selling, so this guy got his for free.

If you ever come across one I highly recommend checking it out!

Definitely cool guitars. It’s a shame Taylor couldn’t get them to stick in the market.

I’ve seen a bunch of these. The bridge is garbage but the rest is pretty good. Upper fret access is not great but just about ok. This is by far the best model.

Also Taylor blew them out at £699 to get rid a few years back ( in the UK).

I should bust mine out of storage one of these days. I have that exact one, given to my wife and I from a music teacher colleague of ours when he retired. It has some electronics issues, PCBs and clip harnesses that come a little loose.
