If the players points code works on the D'addario site then you know they're not fake d'addario strings. I got burned once with fake strings from amazon, the packaging looked quite good but the strings were terrible. Also the players points code printed on the inside was wrong.

I went from boomers to ernie ball a while back. Kinda dig them. Idk. I'm not super picky
And yea it really is everything across the board but there's something nutty about seeing the price of strings and picks these days that is especially nuts.
