Stop w all the Dog picts!

Headed over to the my "summer home" to mow the lawn, a nice shower later I'm chillin' and grillin' with the doggo. ❤️

PS: it's where I grew up and my parents lived until the end of their days.

Looks like my grandparent’s place up in the Adirondack’s! I’d be quite content sitting on that couch with some grandpas geetars!

It's in the fringes of Vienna, Austria.

We've actually started emptying the place already, as the house itself is old and not doing great - trouble with the water pipes, moldy basement, cheap build from 1930, and while the yard is beautiful, it's a bit too big for 2 people with jobs and no children. We're looking to buy something half the size during the next year or so.

Also, it's a boring/strictly conservative neighborhood with insufficient infrastructure.

Fingers crossed!

I don’t think I posted this here yet-

This is Echo’s main girlfriend, Blue. They play together so differently than they do with other dogs, not as jumpy and sometimes it almost gets awkward watching them because it looks more sensual than anything. :rofl

I LOVE it when they have a good time at the park, because Bud Bud gets home and passes right da fuck out, allowing dad to go chill in the studio without feeling guilty.

Awwww... What a beauty! Looks tired, but VERY satisfied. 😍

I brought Echo to this joint called Performance Pups this weekend, it’s big man-made lake that serves as a dog beach and he LOVED it. When he saw these dogs jumping off the dock he “Me too!”’d his way over to it and had his first successful dive!

He got a little scared, as you can see in the video, but once that other dog showed him how to swim back to shore he was good to go. Dudes on the surfboards were total strangers but were giving all the dogs a ride around the beach.

We have a tv program here in the UK called the Yorkshire vet.
This women took her white & black cocker spaniel in because she thought he had eaten a belt from her dress.
A week before he had eaten a compression sock that had to be removed .
The vet took a XRay and went in.
First out was an over the knee 3ft long woolly sock then the belt of the same length 🤣

Whelp…this happened.

We met her at an adoption event over the weekend and she got us good. After losing Finley earlier this year we weren’t sure about another dog but Willow started to show signs of loneliness. That’s what we’re telling ourselves, anyway.

She was thought to be over a year but we’ve since adjusted that down to about 10 months. We wanted a 5 year old dog around Willows age but here we are in puppytown again.

She was found as a stray, malnourished with a couple broken teeth a few skin lesions that will require some work. We suspect she wasn’t treated well and ran away. She’s the sweetest dog and she just won the dog lottery. Time to fatten her up. She’s not complaining.

This fucking dog, man. A week ago she was eating my breakfast as I was cleaning up her pee in my dining room.

Something clicked earlier this week and all the sudden she’s locked in. There’s some recall, lots of solid eye contact, all great signs for a dog that’s never lived in a house before. She loves the sun so I’ve been setting up a bed on our back deck and luring her there with an elk antler.

The last pic gave me a chuckle. She’s bonding nicely with Willow. They spend a good chunk of the day stomping on each others faces. Pretty adorable stuff.

My wife was out of town this week. I’m so worn out. Puppies are hard. She’s worth it though.
