The cats got in a little tussle, usually orange boy is the instigator but not this time. Zelda decided he needed security detail

He started doing this a couple weeks back, started off doing it on the way home from the dog park but now he does it both ways, he’ll just lean over and rest his head on my arm while driving. The first pic I didn’t realize he was looking up at me while doing it, got me all choked up when I saw the pic after getting home.

That’s awesome that you kept at it. It can be a bit stressful socializing dogs, especially in groups. The socialization should pay off when you need to pull a crowd for your new musical project.I was waiting for this to happen.
It rained just enough today for some of the dirt at the dog park to soften and stick. A smaller dog wanted to roughhouse with him so they spent a good 30 minutes knocking each other around in the dirt. It’s been two months we’ve been going to the park almost daily, I might skip a day once a week, he wasn’t sure how to play with other dogs at first but he’s definitely gotten the hang on it!

Finley has been doing well. We’re still waiting for all her hair to grow back but overall she’s recovered really well from the cancer surgery a few months back.
She’s getting up there and we know we don’t have a ton of time left, which makes us hold to the important moments that much more strongly.
She’s the sweetest thing I’ve known.
