Stereo

hahaha my man!!!! thats whats up

sitting here im thinking i could also run a bass signal and bring my dark glass

actually i have a long speaker cable so maybe bring just bring the 6505 and run it to the two guitar cabs and then run the dark glass into the bass cab.

I've never used a stereo rig live, but I've cobbled a ton of them together over the years. The first was using my uncle's Digitech 2101 into a pair of Fender combos, the distorted tones were what you'd expect but the clean tones were really killer. That was in my first band and introduced me to a stereo rig at band volume and ping pong delays, that have been a mainstay since.

When I'm not being lazy I'll bring a 2nd cab to band practice. I setup a stereo preset in my living room, using the Duncan Powerstage to power a 2nd cab, I just haven't had the motivation to use it at practice yet and the only time I’d ever consider using it live is if I knew the PA were setup in stereo, which 99% of them are not down here.

I agree you need a stereo power amp based rig to make stereo practical or be digital with powered speakers. If I use a head is configured WDW using my Axe 3 rig 4CM as the wet. I sometimes use a mixer and keep the dry all analog adding an analog only pedal front end.
Only my portable jam rig is mono and that’s a Kemper power rack and a Mesa Thiele EV.
Bluamp x should be released with a 1x100 or 2x50 choice poweramp

Do you want it to be a good chunk bigger? Because that's how you get a good chunk bigger amp.

It makes a lot more sense to sell a separate poweramp for stereo use. Or you can use an Amp 1 for that.

Yeah, I know it would make it probably a little bigger. It’s still pretty compact probably just like those solid state amps that air uses, but there’s no tube of course but the tubes are pretty small.
I’d say go for the gusto and put a 2 x 50 or one by 100 ability into these things. It would just make the affect shine so much more but yeah I get it. You can just add a stereo power amp to these I guess.

This is one of the few stereo heads ;

Sounds amazing.

Stereo is nice, WDW is remarkably better
I have loads of space
not really any volume restrictions
and zero interest in gigging

my current "easy" setup is
Fender CyberTwin SE line outs (L/R)>
VHT 2902>
feeds four 1x12 cabs

WDW is better because Dry has it's own clean speaker with zero FX muddying it up

Speaking of WDW... a few years ago I used an EVH combo as a center channel and a Kemper (EVH profile of the combo) for the Stereo L/R using the Kemper L/R out to a power amp and 4x12s.

Wish I could have gotten this recorded in stereo but it's just a phone recording. Madison Square Bedroom but it sure is fun. 10 speakers of bliss. :satan

The guitarist from Toad the Wet Sprocket recently posted his setup, he was running a big pedalboard with the Stryfecta into a pair of Morgan AC20 heads and cabs in stereo. He recently moved to running a Helix rack to replace his board, into the AC20's, then into Two Notes Captors.

WDW is remarkably better for a live audience as well. Even if the effects spread doesn't translate to every spot, the single center D works better.
