Stadium Stereo Bug - Factory Preset 11C

In the Stadium on a User preset, I am running a pair of identical amps in stereo as shown below. The output of the merge and the unit was equal as it should be. Feeling adventurous, I left my preset and visited some Factory presets. When I loaded preset 11C - Sunday Tones, the output got 3 dB louder on the left. I left that preset and came back to my preset, the output was now about 3 dB louder on the right instead of being evenly split. Nothing in my preset changed.

Restarting the unit fixes the issue. (As long as you’re not on 11C)

The issue seems to be something with that 11C factory preset.

Hey, @Digital Igloo ...
That's forked up! I'll have to try to at least check 11C on mine.

Okay, this is maddening. Playing again this morning. Didn't visit any other presets. All of the sudden one side is louder than the other and it's like that even when building a dual amp preset from scratch. Rebooting didn't fix it immediately. There's no way I can use this for a gig. Went back to normal after a few reboots.

Stupid question but did you go all the way through the update process? I thought I did but had to click the upper left hand drop down and finish up some installation.

I think I found a clue. When I remove both amps from the Y-split, the problem resolves. When I tried to add them back manually, I was able to add one AC30 but couldn't add a second one because it was grayed out. I removed a reverb block from path 2A and was able to successfully add the second AC30 and the levels are correct. Was my preset somehow in a CPU overload state?

I am almost certain this is what is happening. The unit somehow let me exceed the DSP limit without warning me. All sorts of other weird stuff was happening in that state too. It would save a preset to a new location, but the preset would be blank. It would say I deleted presets but on reboot they'd still be there.

As soon as I resolved the apparent DSP limit issue in my preset by removing a reverb block and manually adding the amps back, everything started working again.

I think this is why Factory 11C triggers the issue. Because that preset must also be in CPU overload.

This is definitely the case. To test it for yourself, create a preset that has a split in path 2A like shown above and put 2 AC30s in it and a dual cab after it. It should be perfectly balanced left and right.

Then, visit Factory 11C, play, and come back to your preset. One side will now be louder.
