Congrats man! That’s killer pedal. Love my Carcosa.
It’s such a versatile pedal. I believe is better than the Carcosa in some ways.
I use mine in two ways. It’s either gain high and bias low, but 80% of the time I run gain low, around 10 o’clock and bias up around 2 o’clock just so it starts to “gate” on dynamics and spit and sag back at me.
Switch on dehme mode. Detail (hi cut) is around 10-11 o’clock, I like it a tad scooped for my telecaster.
I like that it works well as a distortion to, if set that way.
It’s pretty similar but has more refined and useable range in some the knobs as I understand. The detail (tone?) knob on the Dehme goes darker, or more scoop kinda. It has better components so it’s said it is somewhat more reactive to the guitar. The switch has different clipping modes instead of the transparent lows/cut lows switch on the Carcosa. I think the Demhe is like the Carcosas transparent lows mode… wich is called Dehme.
I don’t know if it has has the same “fuck your buffer or true bypass, I don’t care” thing as the Carcosa. It can be placed anywhere and it doesn’t care.
