I tried a MKI years ago. It was nice but a little muddy for my taste. I also wanted a bit more gain.
The MKIII solved all of that for me. I really dig the Plexi-800 tones on this thing! I dip the bass knob to 10-11 to tighten it up a bit and I’m off to the races.
On sale now for $106 at MF and the red looks sweet in person. Takes boosts well and cleans up nicely with a volume knob roll on the guitar.
