Carcosa also doesn’t care about buffer or no buffer or where it’s placed which adds to its usefulness. It just takes whatever you put into it, and owns it.

So in trying the stereo rig this AM, my enjoyment of the TC chorus lit itself up a bit more again. I am going to grab a second noise gate, however; as the second amp needs some noise killing help. I might just spring for that damn Zuul :unsure:

Yep. I have come to realize I may like chorus after the amp in the modeling world but with analog gear; up front always. It was about to hit the Amazon return label status but I decided to leave it in place and I like it much better being more subtle on one amp and not the other. Clean sounds in the loop is amazing. But I generally don't do cleans :satan

Between that Tele, the SCF, and a stereo rig you might find yourself liking cleans more, who knows.

Grab a DynaComp, put the Tele in middle pickup position, add some reverb/delay, and play a few arpeggios

Cleans on both of these amps are gorgeous. I just don't play them :bag :rofl The SCF shines with those! I wish there were stereo inputs to match the outputs!

I have always wanted to try this pedal. I’m not a big modulation guy but I do like chorus if I can run it subtle and very slow with gain.

Currently have the MXR M234 which is great in that role since you can cut highs and lows to keep it as a thickening agent without f’ing up your tightness in the lows or harmonics in the highs. I have a Carl Martin Atlantic that is a nice alternative. It has a level control that I find more handy than I would have thought. And the rate knob (not speed) is nice to blend in vibrato which IMO is far better than just a switch between the two.

I really should scratch that TCH itch that I’ve had for years. I briefly demo’d the old version years ago and liked it. I expect the new one is pretty tight with some quirks sorted. Plus it just looks so damn cool.
 
I wonder if your yellow MXR Stereo Chorus sounds the same as my blue mono one as far as the chorus goes. That would be pretty sweet as I love stereo non-live. Damn JT, now I’m thinking about two freaking pedals.

Ordered another NS2 for the Multiwatt side of the stereo rig. I wanted to grab a Zuul but I'd need 2 for this ridiculousness and that isn't going to happen.
