That Taylor Danley video is unfortunately a bit shit. Lots of bad tones, some that sound broken. I swear his playing/tuning/intonation is generally better than in that video too.
The plugin alliance version has some qualities I really like - it’s a bit more focussed and less squishy, and can sound more aggressive. Visually it’s easier to read and the scaling is a lot nicer.
I wouldn’t say I have a real preference but it’s worth checking out both
