SHOW OFF YOUR PEDALBOARD!

I’m new to the thread and actually pretty new to pedal use. I built my first actual pedal board this week. It’s probably pretty weak compared to those of you who’ve been at this a while. Any criticisms or suggestions?

Looks good and some nice choices. If it was my board I'd run the Julia before the Carbon Copy though.

I have a JHS Double Barrel, and the Morning Glory is a nice spin on the Bluesbreaker circuit. I like the Moonshine circuit a little less, but it is an interesting take on the Tube Screamer circuit none the less.

I’m still learning. Why place the compressor at the end of the chain, instead of the beginning? I placed mine right after my tuner at the start of the chain, is that wrong?
There’s nothing wrong with either. Personally I use a compressor first in chain, mainly for my clean sounds. To create a fuller and balanced tone (my telecaster pickups sounds quite uneven between certain strings, compressor helps)
If I use my overdrive and fuzz I usually turn the compressor off to get extra dynamics. Compressor last in chain has its uses probably… but for a pedalboard I’d mostly use a compressor first. If I record something, a compressor might be added in the daw to subtly work on the track mostly to tame eventual high peaks and to lift sudden low parts, to fit the track with other tracks.

Something tells me you are going to need a bigger board pretty soon 👍🍺

I like compressors after wah or envelope filters to even them out. Otherwise, I find I mostly use them with clean tones where the order doesn't make much difference, especially if it is the only pedal on.

Thanks for the response and explanation.

Do you move this beast around?
she has locking rubber wheels, The pedals I screw mounted them for cleaner look, and as we all know there's a gazillion pedals out there and i want them all, lol. Reality says i can't. i found a keyboard bag that this fits in and carry. I love the input of others.
