Seriously bad case of GAS.

All a matter of opinion. I know players who would agree with this and players who would disagree.
I really don’t think this is a matter of opinion. For example a flush mounted 510 is no bigger than a hard tail and doesn’t do anything detrimental to the tone. Leave off the bar and it is a hard tail. With locking tuners it’s as stable as a hard tail as well. Easier to string up because of the tuners. Other than legacy tones there is no point in a bigsby these days. Unless for looks but even this is at the expense of ergonomics and functionality.
There are things I like to use that are suboptimal but I don’t suggest it’s subjective.

This statement alone is exactly what proves it is subjective.

You’re saying there is a tonal difference between a Bigsby and something that is not a Bigsby.

Any time there is any difference between A and B you will always have some who prefer A and others who prefer B.

The designation of either one as “good”, “bad”, “better”, “worse”, “detrimental”, etc. is entirely subjective to the individual making the statement.

Your “better” might be someone else’s “worse”, and neither of you are wrong

It's not a real Bigsby anyway. It's a Schecter brand trem.

I trust Schecter from experience. If anyone is going to make a guitar that helps alleviate known issues with these types of trems and makes it work it's them. There is no way this is not another great guitar from them.

Thin and metallic is worse. I will have to respectfully agree to disagree. 🍻

I find it an interesting guitar. Never had a tremolo of this type, so can't comment on that, but if it stays in tune, I don't see why I wouldn't rock that thing.
