Screw original unless you're just dead set on that.
 
How did you wire it to have EMG with 25k pots and the regular humbucker 500k ? Particularly in the middle position.
 
What happened to the T top that two of the screws in the bottom are missing?

I was wondering if it could be a Tim Shaw but I don't think they started until 1980. Still... are the spacers made of wood or plastic?

I think the PCB back pickups were later in the 80s, but I don't know for sure. I had one of the lower wind bridge versions for a few months last year, I thought it was pretty sweet but lacked low end.

I tried to take it apart, I think (it was a looonnngg time ago) to clean the poles, and it fell apart.
It's a white strip of plastic.
