It's also such as small company. Sometimes we forget (or I do) that behind these products, it's just a handful of people running a small business.

Yeah, that was supposed to be a sig pack like Satch’s amp vault, but Joe heard them and wasn’t impressed in the end, he made a huge rant on his IG about them and basically removed himself from the whole deal.

Had to look a bit to find it, but it was a tad worse than I imagined. Maybe some miscommunication happened, not sure, but it's always a bit of a shame a promising partnership ending like this, I think we all lose.

It took someone like Jim Gaustad, someone that has the playing, the experience with the gear and also who was willing to work with them to improve the capture method to get the results up to his standards.

I'm not particularly surprised he didn't like it though. It always felt off IMO. And even if it was improved, to this day I'm still waiting for a capture method I won't be able to tell the difference. I've read many saying it's 100% the same, but my time with every single one of them got me perfectly usable results, absolutely none of them was close enough I'd get confused. I haven't yet tried ToneX V2 and also the new QC capture, but honestly, it feels a lot like Fractal's shtick. Every years or so a new revolutionary update comes out, and every time I got to be on that train the upgrade was always underwhelming IMO. I just became desensitized, skeptical (maybe even cynical) about such hyperbolic claims.
