I’m hit or miss on Rival Sons. I respect what they’re doing, it just doesn’t hold my attention.
They remind me of an artsier Bad Company.

Fair enough. Personally, I'd rather go to a Rival Sons show than a Sabbath show. I know, sacrilege. I loved Sabbath when I was a kid but these days I listen to Rival Sons a lot more than I do Sabbath. And Scott Holiday has a great guitar sound that really works live. There's a reason they call him The Fuzz Lord. I wasn't really into fuzz until I started digging Rival SonsWhen Rival Sons opened for Sabbath on the end tour it gave me an opportunity to head to the bathroom and the refreshment stand
We all have different tastes, nothing wrong with that. But I really would recommend listening to either Great Western Valkyrie or Feral Roots albums from end to end. If one of those albums can't hold your attention, you're just not that into them...I’m hit or miss on Rival Sons. I respect what they’re doing, it just doesn’t hold my attention.
Makes sense. I've always thought that Jay Buchanan sounds like a grittier Paul Rodgers. And Scott Holiday as often talked about how he's fond of Paul Kossof's guitar tone. They remind me of an artsier Bad Company.
