I loved that guy. His films and shows have been a fixture of my life since a teenager.

If you've never watched David Lynch cooking Quinoa, and you've nothing better to do, then here it is:

I can't fully explain why I like it, but I do enjoy it so. I suppose it's got something to do with the everyday aspect of it, mixed with odd details and of course just hanging out with Lynch himself and his unique way of speaking.

Yeah, Blue Velvet was the first movie that I saw. Suffice to say that at that tender age... it was a bit of an eye-opener!
That was a WILD one! I need to rewatch it!

My dad loves Twin peaks. I didn't watch it because I don't like horror.

I am a fan of the soundtrack though.

I really loved Mulholland drive. I skipped through the violent parts. It's themes not only apply to show Business but also life in general. The way they depicted Naomi Watts' character in the movie, everyone will have a crush on her and also pity her at the same time.

TBF I think mullholand drive is more “horror”y than twin peaks…. Twin peaks is more like a bizarre soap opera/drama/procedural on acid

Lost highway is probably the most “horror”ish of the whole “California trilogy”!(lost highway/mullholand/inland empire) and calling them a trilogy isn’t really accurate since they’re independent from each other but still kind of an overal grouping

More sad news.
He was a brilliant film maker.
Twin Peaks was on one night and repeated on another every week in the UK and I used to record it on VHS .
I still never understood what the hell was going on 😳
I didn’t know he did the Elephant man with Mel Brooks until it was on the news .
I always thought it was just Mel.
