Rick Beato fun game; Can You Identify Famous Guitarists From A Single Note?

Got 8/20, 3 of them only with the second note.

Some of the the 20 are not players I know well enough so I'm pretty happy with my score.

I've made few fun mistakes and missed one from a song I'm really familir with.

I was somewhere around 7 or 8 which was way better than I expected going in. I told my wife I could probably do very well with 5-10 notes where you get a better feel for phrasing and timing, attack etc. but I actually got a bunch just in the one note. That said, I think it was partly because the songs and solos were so iconic and I was recognizing a specific recording of a specific song and not really the guitarist's style.

And yes, several were song and players I am not a fan of and either wasn't familiar or didn't know well enough to guess.

I’ll give this a shot later tonight. I’ve been playing this game my whole life in the car with my family, we’ll flip through radio stations and guess the songs as quick as possible from only hearing a split second.

I think it would be even more interesting to have a couple bars from a really deep cut, something live, or a collaboration to see if you can spot the guitarist without the context of a song you know well. That would be harder and most of us would only get people we are big fans of or who are very unique.

Yeah. Knowing the song and the specific recording helps quite a bit.

These have been my scores.

1, 2, 3, 7, 10, 20 on first note 6, 10, 19 with the second.

1, 2, 3 & 7 I was 100% confident.
