My jam setup is either a head or preamp.
head > reactive load > FX > re-amp
pre-amp > FX > re-amp
Since the levels coming out of everything is not matched I'm always compensating by adjusting overall listening levels via:
1. the amp or pre-amp
2. the line out from the re-active load
3. the re-amp
I can now set and forget these and do all volume tweaks via this:
head > reactive load > SAT2 > FX > re-amp
pre-amp > SAT2 > FX > re-amp
Fully clockwise is zero attenuation so it works just like a volume knob.
Works as advertised and it's from Radial so it's built like a tank. Very cool box!
