I want to buy a looper/switcher, that switches pedals on and off while also controlling my 3 channel amp.
I found some possible (and rather inexpensive) devices, but I am still wondering about some things.
How do I use pre and post FX? E.g. I want to use a SD1 in front when the rhythm or lead channel is engaged, while also using a CH1 and DD8 in the amps loop.
If I go "Looper Output -> Amp" all FX will be PRE. Does that mean I could/should use one of the loops of the looper (one after the SD1) and go from there into the amp and then from the amps fx loop send back into the loopers return? Then the loopers main output would go back to the amps fx loop return?
Sorry if that is a lot of loop and stuff I am still wrapping my head around it.
