Steve Morse E656 100 watt FX loop question

I acquired the Steve Morse signature 100 watt amp only recently, and am still trying to learn all the ins and outs, pardon the pun, of this brilliant but complex piece of gear.
OK, I read in the manual that the send of the FX loops, in the signal chain, is located post pre amp and pre the two Master power knobs.
But my question, dumb as it may sound, is: Can you control which of the three channels your guitar signal that is affected by the pedals in the FX loop comes out of?
In other words, let's say you have some time based FX in the loop, and a looper pedal. You play something you want to then solo over with an overdriven signal using channel 3. Can you have what you first sent into that looper pedal in the FX loop come out of, let's say, channel 1, then switch to channel 3 for soloing?

If I am understanding your question about the looper, You will want to place the looper in the FX loop, that way what ever you tracked with the looper will remain the same tone you looped it with, and you can change channels to get the sound you want to play over without impacting that sound

Congrats on the morse, I had one years ago its an incredible amp
