I just got the stand from 3DWaves. It’s great.
Note that mine doesn’t sit quite flush on the stand but that’s only because I have some dual lock on the QCM because it’s normally on my pedalboard. The stand would work perfectly if you have or don’t have the stock rubber pads on the bottom of the QCM.

This likely played a big role in the development of the Mini; the connector board failures were the cause of the Blue Lights Of Death and the tractor noise issues that required sending the QC’s back in for repairs. (I would still LOVE to see how many units had replacements) At the same time, footswitch implementation was a frequent target of criticism with people wanting more options for the available switches.
Getting rid of the connector boards and reducing the footswitches got two birds stoned at once.

That's a great looking desk setup!
I got a 3D printed stand for my HX Stomp and it's been incredibly useful for a bunch of different pedals. Highly recommended.

The QCM design almost certainly eliminates the need for a separate daughterboard for footswitches and LEDs, and it's likely more robust as a result.
But I don't really follow your logic about the reduced switch count addressing complaints re: oversimplified footswitch implementation. If anything, having fewer switches would make me wish the ones I had were more versatile.
I use external switches with my "big" QC, but I've found I'm more comfortable (and screw up less) the fewer of them I have in front of me. What I've been really wishing lately is that I could program a single switch to toggle between two Scenes, which is bafflingly absent in CorOS.

I think the reference to footswitches was related to the four buttons being spaced out more?????
regardless, I'm a button blaster so I'd have a midi controller for sure for gigging. At the desk, it could be a blank brick for me as I would use the computer client anyway.

I’d be very surprised. If I recall correctly, QC and QCM are running the same firmware, with auto-detection to adjust features where the hardware differs.

I am not sure what it can do. On one hand; the switching looks overcomplicated yet with the least amount of actual functionality but I honestly don't know and footswitching methodology discussions in general for me are total jump off a building fuel.

I’m not watching that video, but…
Footswitch configuration is the farthest thing from overcomplicated. Couldn’t be easier. On the flipside (and perhaps as a direct result) it is lacking in some pretty basic functionality.

Was this ever fixed by NDSP on newer models ? or they just said fuck it will wait for returns and fix them ?

I think it’s just general low quality internal construction. I suspect it just comes disconnected easily. This and failure of multi function components that just aren’t as robust as they should be.

Not that I can tell. And it seems like an obvious thing to have. There are two pages of scene view. When you’re on page 1, you select a given scene by pressing the corresponding button. If you quick press that button again, it doesn’t do anything because you’re already on that scene. At the very least they could make it so pressing the button for the currently selected scene (A-D) toggles to the corresponding scene (A-D) on page two.@deadpool_25 can you toggle on the QCM or am I nuts?
And just a straight up menu where you could tell it what to do with any given button would be more flexible obviously.

Thanks for confirming. I must have hallucinated a video where the scenes toggled back and forth. Seems like something that should already exist but I'll drop it and considerthe mystery solved. Finally. I think.
