Hope you love it! (Hope it wins the Modeler Wars!)
I’m kind of cautiously optimistic about this go-round. There’s some cool stuff added since my last dance and the form factor looks amazing.

Happy for you. Feels like you're naturally drifting back to QC as your happy place for the time being. I hope this one really does it for ya.

that was my ground noise and if I didn't have an xlr cable connected that's what I would get. Recording analog gave me no issues with xlr connected. I was just asking the OP to try but didn't get a response so I guess I'll never know.Too many ambiguities here. QC vs. QCM vs. Nano... and more importantly: there are distinct types of noise. I wouldn't call the noise in that video hum at all. It sounds more like a static charge. The last time I heard anything like that, someone here (was it @Sascha Franck?) was describing a "zipper noise" he heard when moving his hand over his pickguard. This is the very first time I've heard of this problem being associated with QC or QCM.
The devil's in the details.

I’m a FASshole at heart, but I’ve kinda rooted for Neural to come good. This is a vote more for the form factor than anything else, which kind of slots in great to bounce from the desk to my pedalboard. Unlike my first pass using the QC, when I was entirely digital, I have a real interest in capturing my own analog gear now, particularly digitizing my rack. Being able to mix and match my caps plus the plugs could be really cool. Who knows.![]()
The V2 Capture process is so good. It just works.
If you have a favorite IR copy it to the device and you can use that IR as a stand-in when making a V2 Capture. The Capture won't have a Cab (it will be direct) and only uses the IR in the Capture process as a stand-in but you can use that same IR in a Preset. And it remembers all the settings for the next time. I friggin love it.

About 10 mins, and just one at a time. But these the V2 captures sound and feel grate!Damn that’s slick!
What’s the turnaround time on these V2’s caps, like 5-10 minutes? Can you have multiple queued up to the cloud gods at once?

The V2 uses more resources, so I would do all in one where appropriate. Is it still better to capture individual pieces of the chain and stack them on the grid, or does the V2 stuff do better with a full chain? (Like preamps w/power amps or drives+amps etc)
For flexibility sake I’d assume it’s worth the effort to isolate the caps, but might be cool to have full chain caps too.

No, but I use youtube on my TV!Can you still use the QC while v2 captures are cooking? IIRC these are now cloud-based.

As SeeD said, about 10 minutes-ish. Idk, I’m not in a “strapped for time” mindset when I do this lol - and I have no sympathy for capture vendors’ complaints that it takes longHow long those it take. In my Nano with V1 from start to finish is just 3:37min.
but might be cool to have full chain caps too.
Yeah, doesn't take 40 hours a week does itAs SeeD said, about 10 minutes-ish. Idk, I’m not in a “strapped for time” mindset when I do this lol - and I have no sympathy for capture vendors’ complaints that it takes long![]()
I usually capture drives separate from my amp because I’ve never run out of DSP unless I’m being ridiculous on purpose lol
It’s MikaelDez - I’m following you already because I saw you in the Cortex Cloud wild a long time ago lolWhat’s your NDSP handle? I need to follow a couple of you savages to see what y’all are sharing and maybe test drive a couple of my early cap attempts and share some pointers.
