2nd guitar position is just about sewn up. Unsurprisingly, ALSO one of our old bandmates who we worked great with back in the day. Now to contact our original bassist

Been working with our 2nd guitarist here and there. As well as working on my own rig for this project incrementally. FM3 plus external pedals has been going good* but I am very torn as of late. I'm dialing presets in using my Mesa Rectifier in Modern Mode as a power amp through either my Mesa C90 2x12 or my EVH C90 loaded 112.
*Problem is through the 5150 and bass 412 cab loaded with Jensen speakers at the jam spot; it's a night and day difference. As well as having some other issues in either my guitar jack or the pedalboard that I can't quite sort.
Not to even mention the Rectifier lamp somehow burnt out over the last day or two and my Mk III combo still has a volume drop that I seem to be really good at avoiding fixing.
I really need to just get back in the jam room and these overthinking sessions will calm down. Hopefully.

Go look at my fever dreams thread. I was on the fence like you were, and we’re about to hit the studio for our second full length album.
