I had a hunch but I didn't know for sure. Looks like the USB port on the Kemper Stage will send power to external devices. I plugged in my Morningstar MC-8 and it powered up perfectly and works without issue. Very cool!

I just bought a USB tester. I’m going to check the Kemper and I’ll report back. No ground loop noise so far though which was a concern.

SpecificationsMax. VoltageMax. CurrentMax. Power
USB 2.05V500mA2.5W
USB 3.0 / USB3.15V900mA4.5W
USB Battery Charging (BC) 1.25V1.5A7.5W
USB-C Current Mode (non-PD)5V3A15W
USB-C / Power Delivery (PD)*48V5A240W
* In 2021, USB-IF published the PD 3.1 specification, officially called Extended Power Range (EPR). At the same time, it updated the USB Type-C cable requirements to handle the higher voltage. If you want to charge or power devices such as a gaming laptop, e-bike or laser printer using PD 3.1, you must use a USB-C 2.1 cable.

I posted this over in the Morningstar forums too… awaiting an answer.
