PRS without truss rod

I’m not certain, but I think the PRS neck in the video is reinforced with high modulus carbon fiber. I recall Paul talking about something similar along these lines not too long ago.

If I had my way, all guitars would be moving away from truss rods, towards being reinforced by a carbon rod. But I can see the higher end market moving in this direction. Vigier is the obvious leader.

Tone/sustain/etc. aside, I’ve always found it a little bizarre that the adjustment of this one bolt on a guitar has the potential to completely ruin not only the playability, but also the actual structural integrity of the instrument. And we kind of just expect everyone that plays guitar to be able to manage this adjustment.

You’re right most can’t. The vast majority have way too much relief and try to add more if it buzzes.

You must enjoy pain then, I doubt I've watched as many of his videos as you to feel that way.
My skepticism meter is fairly sensitive with gear demos/reviews, etc. I'm not easily swayed.

Yeah I do that too but they'll still show up in searches. I added a bunch of people to an extension last year but don't remember it's name now. Blocktube or something like that, they don't even show up in searches then.
