PRS Mark Tremonti MT15 V2

tis gonna be an interesting year for me, for sure. I was all set on getting a SYN20IR and a module or two, in a few months, but, with the this amp and the Archon coming out, for less, AND I'll probably be able to play them in a store . . .

Definitely worth a look/listen.
That Archon Classic is priced really well & sounds awesome.

Wonder if they fixed the FX Loop...
This right here. I had an MT15, terrible hum in the loop. Sent it back to PRS under warranty, they said they fixed it, it still hummed like crazy. I loved the tone of the amp, but yeah no quality FX loop killed my buzz for this thing.

The amp really interests me, but I highly dislike the looks. I don't like steel-chassis lunchbox amps and that simple logo and the font. Looks super cheap for such a cool amp.

On the 100 IIRC the font looked cheap as well, but it's a proper chassis, so i doesn't look that bad.

Using the "overdrive" on the lead channels removes two gain stages, and as per the video you can hear it changes the voicing quite a bit. You definitely can't get there by just turning the gain pot down.
Ive watched multiple videos and it doesn't really seem to change the overall voicing that much from what I can tell ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Would definitely like to try one and see!
They’re clearing out the v1 for $650 everywhere.
Yep, the original release price.
