This is the first thing that actually exists that has tickled my gas juices in quite a while.
I got alllllllllmostvtgrough check out and then remembered I’ve been playing the same single preset on my axe fx III pretty much exclusively for six months with no complaints about sound….
I’m not giving them ad revenue by clicking the link. How about a synopsis?A little more info here for anyone wondering about the details re: tonestack etc..
Poly Ample - Amp Sim pedal
Questions for POLY EFFECTS: Can I load my own full resolution NAM captures into Ample? Does Ample use full resolution NAM captures or the feather light NAM captures? How low is the latency? Less than 1 ms? Do the captures coming through Ample have the same fidelity and sound quality as they...www.thegearpage.net

Be BraveI do. So, no synopsis?
Funny, when I realised it had reverb I thought about this and a Dig in front as a mini rig. That stereo!I was about to scream WOT, NO BASSMAN???!!!
But it’s included in the “Bass” category of amps.
Also:
“Ample is stereo in, stereo out. You can run the same amp on both channel or different amps on either”
So I could put my Brig in front in glorious stereo.
So you're saying it's uniform and predictable, and won't be over gained by external drive/boost pedals.Did folks watch the review videos? Apparently it's quite under-gained....you really have to push the gain and hit the boost to hit 'normal' gain levels.
4-knobs each with secondary function and enough buttons for access to five banks and 6 presets per bank or whatever it is — I don’t know if that’s gonna be wildly cheaper, certainly bigger. But it is definitely a UI for “I should just use plugins but I want to pretend I’m better than that” crowd over gigging folks.I wonder how much less this pedal would cost and how much more of a profit margin for the manufacturer would be if they would had opted for knobs and buttons over capacitive touch.
Such a simple design to be ruined by a pointless UI. Give me a few rotary encoders and buttons and I’d be interested. The capacitive touch seems like a gimmick for an otherwise cool pedal.
