I think it's embarrassing that people are being called assholes, knobs, dicks and ignorant on this thread for things that I really don't see warranting the reaction. Nobody should be faulted for not knowing who "X person from Y forum" is, and any reception to the same type of OP would have been applauded here any other day because 98% of the time it IS some dude trying to shill their content. It was a misunderstanding that could have been resolved on page 1 if communication was a little better on both sides.

Summary: just like some guitarists are moving to digital modelers/profilers instead of carrying an amp, would it make sense that drummers make a similar move, at least for convenience? Do we reject it just because we are not used to it yet or do they really sound that bad?

I mean, if I watched a concert that used these drums, I don't think I'd say it was bad:


On the other hand, we're used to see bands playing keyboards that sound quite close to a real...

Yeah I get that, that's where one party could have done better, and the other party maybe could have not freaked out and got bent out of shape, then dig deeper when it was basically explained that we have that trouble sometimes.
