I like orange gear, and maybe I’m missing something but everything seems so similar. How is this different to an or30? Are you getting that different tones out of this than a rockverb?

Just saw the or60 and thought, ok…..?

I’m sure it’s awesome but just same same with a bigger price tag.

An OR needs 34s. I GAS for an OR quite a bit more than the Rockerverb thing because of the whole "just get the same circuit in SS with a Super Crush 120" you can do with it. Whether that's actually a real thing or I just imagined it.

An OR with 6L6s is like a Deluxe Reverb with 84s

I’m curious about the 6L6. People scoff at the 800s running 6550s but those sound pretty damn good. I do wonder why orange went that direction. Maybe modern 6L6 production is more reliable?

Possibly? That’s what I first thought too. Besides it wouldn’t be the first amp with American tubes in a British circuit. Aside from the aforementioned Marshalls, I’ve played and extensively used the Fuchs Mantis 89 20 watt amp which runs 6V6s and definitely is in the British tone camp. Same with the 20 watt Egnater seminar amps.
