A new used Aristides relic, so should've said NUARGD. Quite a discount from new, which is nigh impossible unless you're willing to wait 1 year or longer. There are 2 USA dealers now but neither have had one I've liked, when I was ready to leap.
This is an H/06 multiscale in Battleworn Orange, so sort of a relic, and sort of not. Can't feel any of the "spots".
Supposedly I'm the 3rd owner. Amazed anyone would want to move this along, I guess if you just don't jive with headless - which is fair enough?
It came to me in 8 days, when it was a 3 1/2 hour drive. Took the roundabout way from near Spartansburg, SC, down to Jacksonville, FL, before making it to Atlanta and up to me, lmao. Luckily, all in one piece.
Man, I'm not sure I've ever seen a guitar with so much relief. Truss rod was loose as a goose after three straight Taco Bell trips and a colonoscopy. Adjusting that was easy enough. Then cleaned some minor fretboard gunk, changed strings and set the action - which was a mild learning experience. Can't get the low-E any lower than a hair over 3/64", due to how the adjustment screws work, and I guess partially due to having a 52 there. Not a big deal, got what I want everywhere else.
This has BKP Stormy Mondays, PAF flavored. Surprisingly, I'm digging them big time. Clarity and perfection from the guitar and pickups. You'll never find better fretwork and hardware. Primo without a doubt, up there with any of my guitars. Wasn't planning on getting an Aristides, but realllly wanted one! Boom, it showed up on Reverb and I couldn't resist, after some wheeling n' dealin'.
Puts my other two headless to shame so may be some movement there after I spend some $$ on a luthier trip tomorrow to get them both their needed fretwork.
