A new used Aristides relic, so should've said NUARGD. Quite a discount from new, which is nigh impossible unless you're willing to wait 1 year or longer. There are 2 USA dealers now but neither have had one I've liked, when I was ready to leap.

This is an H/06 multiscale in Battleworn Orange, so sort of a relic, and sort of not. Can't feel any of the "spots".

Supposedly I'm the 3rd owner. Amazed anyone would want to move this along, I guess if you just don't jive with headless - which is fair enough?

It came to me in 8 days, when it was a 3 1/2 hour drive. Took the roundabout way from near Spartansburg, SC, down to Jacksonville, FL, before making it to Atlanta and up to me, lmao. Luckily, all in one piece.

Man, I'm not sure I've ever seen a guitar with so much relief. Truss rod was loose as a goose after three straight Taco Bell trips and a colonoscopy. Adjusting that was easy enough. Then cleaned some minor fretboard gunk, changed strings and set the action - which was a mild learning experience. Can't get the low-E any lower than a hair over 3/64", due to how the adjustment screws work, and I guess partially due to having a 52 there. Not a big deal, got what I want everywhere else.

This has BKP Stormy Mondays, PAF flavored. Surprisingly, I'm digging them big time. Clarity and perfection from the guitar and pickups. You'll never find better fretwork and hardware. Primo without a doubt, up there with any of my guitars. Wasn't planning on getting an Aristides, but realllly wanted one! Boom, it showed up on Reverb and I couldn't resist, after some wheeling n' dealin'.

Puts my other two headless to shame so may be some movement there after I spend some $$ on a luthier trip tomorrow to get them both their needed fretwork.

If you take out the brass insert from the saddle you can file a little off the bottom and it will then lower a bit more. You just need to not let the screw touch the string. 1/2mm will probably do the job.
You can’t tell when you have done it other than the saddles lower a bit more. It is gets close to the screw you can take a bit off the length of that too.

Congrats! Welcome to the club.

If yours was from Reverb, it was on my short list, but I opted for the 7 string instead.

I love that finish!
Thank you very much! Yes, popped up there less than a week before I leaped. Me too! I'm a sucker for orange, in general.

Cool finish, dig it!
Congrats, good sir. :beer
Me too! Thank you very much!

That badass! Very cool how they do that finish. I bet that is one comfortable guitar to play.

Congratulations!! :beer
Thank you very much, it's mega comfy!

Looks awesome! Is that big arcade button a kill switch?
Yes, and wish it were maybe 1/2" more towards the ass. Hit it a couple of times by accident, which shocks the shit out of you when you aren't expecting it, it's super sensitive.

Ahh, ok, makes perfect sense. I have just a bit of air between the grub and string on the low-E, and the air goes up, progressively. It actually feels ok, with 3/64" - but I may do this down the line.

If you are in the market for a stand for your H/06, I highly recommend the Fender Universal A-frame stand. I purchased mine from Amazon for less than $30.

The lower arms can be height adjusted independently, and the support on the left can easily be adjusted to provide an additional point of contact with the side of the guitar.

The height of the neck support can also be adjusted. In the image above, the neck support is fully extended. In the image below, the neck support is at its lowest position.

I'd be lying if I said your recent NGD wasn't what pushed me over the edge! Something about that yellow, tasty!

Thank you very much! No need to be jelly, I'm jelly of your guitars!

Wow, that's fucking sick and that's the first time I've ever said that about a headless guitar before!! Congrats, man!!
Thank you very much! You should try one if you ever get the chance, GC gets them from time to time, you just have to be looking, regularly!

Was gone all frikkin' day, driving my Legator and Hils (only other 2 headless) to a Luthier in Jackson, GA. Over 3 hours each way. He said fixing the frets on the legator would cost more than refretting with NS, so I went that route. It was a basic wreck, no wonder I could never get it right - just didn't have the tools or knowledge to fix that level of "fucked". The Hils should come down to reseating some frets.

Fun fact I learned about Aristides, who doesn't love fun facts?

I thought it was pronounced 'Air Uh Stides" but it's "Air Uh Stid Eeze"! The fun part comes in to what people call the plural form, 'tidies! Don't know about all y'all, but I'm a boob man, always have been. Now I need a 2nd so I can start saying, "muh 'tidies"! Would go well with my 5 Balls, no? :pickle:eek::banana
